Depending on the topic I would establish the students teaching styles and areas requiring support. Can be structured (with PowerPoint and notes) or unstructured (discussion) depending on the students preferences. If it is a Group session a PowerPoint may be a better method of learning but it is up to the group and no one class will be the same. Equally can prepare material for the student to revise at home and test wihh in class ( completely down to the persons individual learning needs)
