About Maalik
I’ve been doing voice lessons with my peers, my betters, and my youngers since 2016. I know how to conduct myself in any type of situation with people who are at different levels of their music journey. I understand that my job is to guide my students to a better version of themselves. Hence, I stick to my job and avoid all distractions, and I am strictly against fraternizing with students as it’s immoral and would create an unethical conflict of interest.

I like to make sure that you’re comfortable in every lesson and don’t feel overly burdened. I believe negative reinforcement backfires when trying to conduct any lessons. That does not mean I will be dishonest with you about your current skill level or whenever you make a mistake. There is nothing worse than lying to a student about their abilities. For me, that is a huge injustice to the student.
