About Veda
I am a committed flute tutor with over 8 years of experience teaching school students, college learners, and working professionals. My teaching approach focuses on clarity, patience, and steady improvement. I begin with strong fundamentals such as breathing control, correct posture, finger placement, tone production, and rhythm accuracy.
Once students gain confidence in basics, I gradually introduce articulation techniques, dynamics, and musical expression. Along with practical flute lessons, I teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, and scale practice to develop complete musical understanding. I believe each student learns differently, so I customise lessons according to their goals and pace.
My unique skill is guiding students to build smooth tone quality and consistent practice habits. I also help students prepare for exams, performances, and competitions. My goal is to make every learner confident, disciplined, and passionate about flute playing.

My teaching methodology for flute integrates Adaptation to Learning Styles, Flexibility, Collaboration, and Positivity to foster technical mastery and expressive playing. I begin by evaluating the student’s current level and customising lessons that focus on breath management, embouchure stability, finger coordination, articulation accuracy, and tone refinement.
Clear demonstrations and guided repetition ensure steady improvement. I remain flexible in adjusting lesson speed and repertoire based on individual progress and goals. Collaboration is encouraged through regular discussions about practice habits and performance preparation. Positivity motivates students to stay consistent and confident in their musical journey.
Alongside flute lessons, I also teach music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, sight-reading, and performance techniques, ensuring students gain a complete understanding of music along with instrumental skill.
