Hi, I’m Melissa.
I’m a Development Planning and Management graduate. You might be wondering why someone from planning and management switched to English.
Here’s why:
In development work, we don’t throw random solutions at problems. We first understand the situation, set a clear goal, break it into small steps, then track progress until we get results.
I found that most English classes do the opposite. Students get random grammar rules, boring literature summaries, and no clear plan. Then they feel stuck even after months.
I’m interested in teaching because I want to change that. I want you to feel progress every single week, not just after 1 year. My background taught me how to plan learning like a project — so Grammar, Spelling, Literature, and Speaking stop feeling overwhelming.
