About Janet
Over the years, I've discovered that every singer has a unique voice and learning style. Teaching gives me the chance to help students understand their voice while building confidence in their own abilities.
With a Bachelor of Music and 9 years of teaching experience, I've worked with children and adult learners at different stages. These experiences have helped me become patient, flexible, and focused on each student's personal goals.
I enjoy creating lessons where students feel encouraged to explore music without fear of mistakes. Watching them grow from unsure beginners into confident singers is what makes teaching so meaningful.

My singing lessons are designed to help students understand their voice and enjoy the process of improving. I create a supportive space where you can practise comfortably, explore different sounds, and build confidence through steady progress.
We'll practise breath support, pitch accuracy, vocal range, rhythm, diction, harmony, tone production, ear training, song interpretation, and performance skills using exercises and real songs. If a section feels challenging, we'll slow down and work through it together until it feels natural.
You'll receive personalised practice ideas, progress discussions, and helpful feedback after each class. As your skills develop, you'll notice stronger control, more confidence, and greater enjoyment when singing your favourite songs.
