About Evan

As a Spanish tutor with a Master’s in Spanish for the Professions, I’ve spent the past 5 years helping adult learners connect with the language in meaningful ways. Many of my students are retired individuals seeking mental stimulation, cultural insight, or simply a new passion project. I create a calm and inviting learning environment that makes space for curiosity, questions, and growth. Each session is shaped around your interests. We explore cultural topics, discuss articles or short stories, and practice conversational phrases in a low-pressure setting. My academic background allows me to introduce both everyday Spanish and more specialized terms from the legal or medical world if desired. About the lesson

My teaching method is built for learners who want to use Spanish in medical settings. Whether you're a healthcare provider, a traveler, or just curious, my goal is to help you speak clearly and kindly with Spanish-speaking patients. I use specific vocabulary drills that focus on real medical terms. Then we act out scenarios like check-ups, emergencies, and routine conversations.

These role-plays help you remember key phrases and practice listening. I break medical language into small parts so it's easier to learn. We repeat important ideas until they become second nature. For healthcare workers, we dig deeper into terminology used in hospitals and clinics. We also talk about cultural respect and how to adjust tone and formality.

If you're a hobbyist or traveler, I help you learn essential words for first aid, symptoms, and pharmacy visits. My sessions are calm, clear, and friendly. You don’t have to be perfect—you just have to keep practicing. I’m here to guide you.
