About Janet
Guiding students as they learn guitar has been one of the most enjoyable parts of my teaching career. With 11 years of teaching experience, I have worked with teenagers and working professionals who wanted practical lessons that fit their goals and learning pace.
I encourage students to understand music while enjoying the process of learning. Through chord techniques, rhythm, fingerstyle playing, music theory, improvisation, and regular practice, students develop the confidence to play comfortably in different musical situations.
Every student has a different reason for learning guitar, so I adapt lessons to suit individual interests and abilities. My aim is to make every lesson productive, enjoyable, and encouraging while helping students continue improving with confidence.

From the first guitar lesson, students begin learning through practical playing instead of only reading theory. Every class combines demonstrations, guided exercises, and familiar songs that make learning enjoyable while helping students build confidence and strong playing habits at a comfortable pace.
Lessons include chord progressions, strumming patterns, fingerstyle techniques, rhythm guitar, lead guitar, scales, music theory, improvisation, ear training, picking techniques, barre chords, and performance skills. Practical activities help students understand how each technique works while enjoying different styles of music.
Students receive personalized practice routines, constructive feedback, and regular progress discussions after every lesson. Whether preparing for performances, examinations, or learning favorite songs, every class supports steady improvement while helping students become confident and independent guitar players.
