About Augustin
I am currently a Design Engineering student at the University of Bristol, where I spend my time figuring out how to turn technical concepts into functional products. This background gives me a very logical, structured way of looking at challenges, which I carry over into my tutoring. My experience working for a year as a Teaching Assistant in an SEN school and serving as a French Prefect taught me how to be patient and versatile. I genuinely enjoy the process of breaking down a difficult idea until it finally clicks for someone else.
Moving to the UK four years ago and having to learn English from scratch was a massive challenge that shaped how I approach learning. It gave me a lot of empathy for the frustration that comes with a steep learning curve, so I try to keep my lessons encouraging and grounded. When I’m not studying or teaching, I’m usually out on my bike or on the water rowing. I wanna make teaching fun while making sure that it stays structured and helpful.

I am currently a Design Engineering student at the University of Bristol, where I use maths daily to solve technical problems. Having achieved an A* in the subjects at A-Level, I have the confidence to explain the curriculum and can explain the logic behind the answers rather than just having you memorise formulas. My experience includes a year as a Teaching Assistant in an SEN school and serving as a French Prefect, which allowed me to be a patient and adaptable mentor who can adjust to whatever pace works best for you.
