Hi, I'm Kailash - a first-year dental student at King's College London, having recently completed my A-levels having achieved all A*s and 9 9s in my GCSEs, hence confident in my knowledge of the curriculum and exams to help the student achieve their potential with my experience and tutoring.

Experience:
Caring and passionate tutor with over 2 years of experience tutoring students of all different backgrounds and ages, from primary school and 11+, to GCSEs and A-levels, helping them develop their confidence, supporting them, and achieving better grades.
Teaching style:
A baseline will first be established by discussing with the pupil their concerns, any difficult topics, and goals they have for each subject, which is then followed by a short assessment. This will help identify strengths and weaknesses but also help to create a personalised learning plan tailored to each individual's needs to consolidate their learning.
My basis of teaching is to ensure that students understand, rather than memorise, helping them feel confident with the subject's content, rather than being overwhelmed by it. This will therefore sharpen their problem-solving skills, allowing them to answer more complex questions. The aim is to develop strong subject knowledge, improve their weaker areas, and improve exam technique in a supporting and interactive way.
Lessons will include structured revision, clear explanations, active recall activities, regular quizzes, and exam practice.
By creating a positive and thoughtful learning environment, students can enjoy the process of learning whilst working towards their goals.
