About Halima
I am a dental student who has experience mentoring A level students chemistry A level and GCSE students maths. I also regularly tutor my cousins GCSE maths and A level chemistry and Biology explaining to them difficult concepts. Having achieved 3A*s in A level and 8A*s and 1 A in my GCSEs, I believe I have the knowledge on how to best approach the exams and I am passionate about sharing my techniques so others can also exceed.

My approach involves going through each subunit/topic thoroughly with the student so that they understand the concepts very well. In one session, I would go through one small topic and then once the student fully understands the theory, we will go through a set of past paper questions related to that topic. Once the student is able to confidently answer those questions, I will give them a set of questions to work on at home. If they had any difficulties with the questions, I will go through it with them in the next session until they fully understand, then I plan to move onto the next topic. I will give the student a monthly test with a mix of questions from the different topics taught over the 4 weeks and then mark that test for them.
