About Dhruti
I am currently a 4th year Dental Student studying in England, and have been tutoring children, teenagers and adults for the last 5 years. I love tutoring as it enables me to help students who are going through the same processes I went through; at that time I wish I could have had a tutor to guide me, so I am thrilled to be able to provide this service to those who need it. Having achieved all A's and A*'s at GCSE and A-levels, and being in the medical profession means I have a very strong grasp of the science subjects, and I have also familiarised myself with the main syllabuses. This is all to ensure that I can provide the best tutoring and resources to my students. I am very passionate, friendly, and hardworking, and I will put in all my effort to make sure students achieve their target grades.

Having been tutoring both adults and children for the last 7 years in English, Maths and Science, I am confident I can help you achieve an A* in the GCSE or A-level sciences. Having achieved an A* in A-level Biology and an A in A-level Chemistry, as well as all A's and A*'s at GCSE, I believe my tutoring strategies can help students get their desired grades. I can also help students that desire to go to medical or dental school (as the application process is very similar) come closer to achieving their dreams. Having gone through the tough dental school admissions process myself, I understand the importance of having someone to help and guide you, especially for things like the UCAT, BMAT and interviews. In terms of the actual tutoring, my strategy is to first test the student in order to ascertain their current level, and also find out what learning method they benefit the most from. Using this information, I come with a personalised study plan, utilising both Active Recall and Spaced Repetition; both proven to be the most effective revision styles. My schedule is flexible, so I can cater the lesson durations and frequencies to best suit my students.
