About Benyameen
Hi! I’m Benyameen, a dental student with a strong interest in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Having studied these subjects myself, I know how overwhelming they can sometimes feel, especially when exams are approaching. I believe the key to doing well is understanding what you’re learning rather than simply memorising facts. I enjoy breaking down difficult topics into simpler explanations and making sure everything clicks before moving on. I also know how important exam technique is, so I focus on helping students apply their knowledge to exam-style questions. Whether you’re aiming for top grades or just want to feel more confident with Science, I’d love to help you get there!

My approach to tutoring focuses on helping students genuinely understand topics before memorising information. We can work through school content, past papers or focus on specific topics you are struggling with. I want all my students to feel comfortable to ask any questions and learn at their own pace ensuring tutoring is as effective as possible with no pressure or judgement.
As I am currently a student myself I understand the importance of effective revision and exam preparation. Once a topic is understood, I reinforce learning through practice questions and past paper questions, helping students develop their exam technique and learn how to structure answers to gain maximum marks.
I also offer mock exams, which I can mark and provide feedback on to identify strengths and areas for improvement. This helps students track their progress and focus their revision where it is needed most.
Lessons typically last one hour, allowing enough time to explain concepts, check understanding and practise exam questions while keeping students focused. My lessons are suitable for GCSE students of all abilities studying Biology, Chemistry or Physics, including those looking to build confidence, strengthen their understanding or achieve higher grades.
