About ADEYINKA
I read with interest your posting for mathematics tutor on a job board, I believe I possess the necessary skills and experience you are seeking and would make a valuable addition to your online learning.
I am interested in applying for a teaching position, on the secondary level, in your school district. As a 2004 graduate of University of Ilorin in pure and applied mathematics, I have student teaching and private tutoring experience on IGCSE, SAT secondary school and `A ‘level curriculum.
At present, I am the head of Mathematics department and a teaching staff at Rainbow college boarding. This position enables me to provide these students with a “head start” in mastering basic skills. I am challenged to be creative, nurturing and most of all, patient.
As my resume indicates, I possess more than ten years of progressive experience in both teaching and marking. This position together with several seminars and workshops on teachers’ education and IGCSE professional development certification allowed me to teach every grade class in the local school system. I coordinated field trips with classroom instruction together with sporting activities. I also have the privilege of coordinating mathematics competition for students.
It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, intelligent teacher who will make a positive contribution to your learning platform.

I approach each topic with starter activities which is brain storming and problem solving in nature. I base my teaching on differentiation instruction to cater for high achiever, middle and low achiever with a view to track learners progress. I engage assessment for learning AFL in my teaching for adaptation in teaching-learning process. I identify the mode of learning by individual students, i.e visual, auditory or kinesthetics, VAK. Some of the teaching methods I engage are : problem solving, enquiry, group method. Learners are allow to play active role in teaching- learning process (active learning)
