About
Hi I’m Thalia! I study Linguistics with Korean at the University of Warwick. I’m going into my 2nd year in September 26’ and I’m looking forwards to sharing my knowledge and experiences with younger students looking to thrive in their academic journeys. At A-Level, I achieved A*AB in the following subjects: Media, English Literature and Psychology! When I’m not cramming essays or collecting research for my degree, I enjoy playing volleyball for my uni, watching anime with my friends and spending quality time with my family.

Personally, my teaching style is built upon patience, motivation and a friendly environment. I believe that all students learn differently and so I adapt my lessons to suit the individual needs and goals of my students to ensure their learning needs are met. My lesson plans combine guided practice using worked examples where students have frequent opportunities to ask questions. I encourage students to think critically and develop individual learning skills to push them beyond their comfort zone whilst ensuring they remain confident in their understanding
