About Shiella
About Me
Hello! My name is Shiella, and I am a passionate and dedicated educator with a strong background in both Science and English. I hold a Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in Biology, and I am TEFL-certified, allowing me to effectively teach English to learners from diverse backgrounds.
I have four years of experience as an ESL teacher at Native Camp, where I have taught students of different ages, nationalities, and English proficiency levels. This experience has helped me develop engaging, student-centered lessons that improve speaking, reading, grammar, pronunciation, and overall communication skills. I also provide support for IELTS preparation, helping learners build confidence in all four language skills.
In addition to online teaching, I have two years of classroom teaching experience, where I taught Science and Biology to students in a traditional school setting. This has strengthened my ability to explain complex scientific concepts in a simple, practical, and enjoyable way.
I believe that every student learns differently, so I personalize my lessons according to each learner's goals, pace, and learning style.
