About Suzanne
I am a current college student studying childhood education at WakeTech, as I get ready to transfer over to NC State this Fall. I am always eager to get to know and help new people, and see the smile on student's faces when they have that "ahhh I did it!" face. I am most likely spending time with my family or my class friends on weekends, or am babysitting :) I am strong in Algebra and various math topics, and will not stop or give up until a student has fully understood material, and are able to apply it correctly. I have tutored numerous students, ranging from elementary to high school level math. I also help fellow class mates till this day.

I am a firm believer that teaching requires patience. My worst fear is someone feeling too uncomfortable to ask me a question they have. I make it a priority to make students feel safe and comfortable during our sessions, and treat them like a best friend versus just a student. I like to try different methods, and approaches versus remaining narrow, giving the student different approaches to problems.
