About Vrishti
With 6 years of experience teaching piano and a BA in Musicology in Piano History, I specialize in jazz piano instruction. Lessons focus on improvisation, comping techniques, and sophisticated harmonic vocabulary. I emphasize holistic development through transcription, jazz theory, ear training, and rhythmic precision. I have taught students from Early Intermediate to Advanced Intermediate levels and worked with professional jazz musicians. Students learn to craft expressive solos and confident chordal accompaniment. Lessons include chord substitutions, melodic invention, and phrasing techniques. I encourage rhythmic flexibility and aural awareness. Each session is customized to the student’s goals and musical personality. We explore jazz standards and spontaneous improvisation. Lessons combine technical mastery with creative expression. Students develop confidence, musical intuition, and a personal voice. Start your journey into improvisational jazz piano today.

I focus on helping students write and compose piano music with originality. Lessons include melodies, harmonies, intros, outros, and musical themes. My methodology combines structured guidance with creative freedom. I work with The Therapy Seeker and The Jazz Pianist to bring ideas to life. Students experiment with chord progressions, motifs, rhythmic structures, and improvisation. Each session encourages exploration and expressive creativity. I provide guidance on phrasing, harmony, and compositional form. Lessons teach students to develop full, coherent musical pieces. We study professional music to inspire technique and creativity. I emphasize clarity, structure, and emotional expression. Students gain confidence in creating and performing original music. Each session strengthens technical and artistic skills. Together, we create your own musical legacy.
