About Violet
With a BA in Mathematics and 5+ years of tutoring, I specialize in topology and knot theory—fields that explore shapes, spaces, and transformations. My lessons make abstract concepts come alive through visual models, real-world examples, and clear analogies. Students with interests in physics, art, and advanced mathematics find new perspectives through this approach. I emphasize pattern recognition and intuitive thinking alongside formal proof. By connecting abstract math to structures in science and creativity, I make learning meaningful. Mathematics is not just logical—it’s imaginative, and I love sharing that with students.

I design math lessons to feel more like conversations than lectures. Using storytelling, puzzles, and anecdotes from history, I make math come alive for learners of all levels. Anxiety is replaced with curiosity as students explore numbers through games, visuals, and real-life scenarios.
From calculus and pre-calculus to logical reasoning and visualization, I provide a wide toolkit to strengthen understanding. My experience with Quant and Economics students helps me adapt lessons to sharpen critical skills. Every session is built on empathy, creativity, and a drive for clarity. Math doesn’t need to be feared—it can be fun, fascinating, and deeply rewarding.
