About Andrea
I have 9 years of teaching experience and hold a Bachelor of Science in Pure Mathematics. Throughout my teaching journey, I have worked with students from a wide range of academic backgrounds, helping them overcome mathematical challenges through supportive mentoring, engaging lessons, and personalized instruction. I strive to create an encouraging environment where students develop both competence and confidence.
One student initially found geometric transformations difficult because visualizing reflections, rotations, and translations across coordinate planes required stronger spatial reasoning. Through dynamic graphing activities, hands-on demonstrations, and incremental practice exercises, the student gradually developed excellent visualization skills and achieved impressive results in mathematics assessments.
I believe mathematics nurtures curiosity, analytical thinking, resilience, creativity, and disciplined problem-solving that support lifelong learning and professional success. Outside teaching, I enjoy creating mathematical enrichment challenges, contributing to educational outreach programs, and exploring innovative teaching methodologies that make mathematics engaging for learners of all levels.

My teaching philosophy emphasizes building mathematical understanding through exploration, logical reasoning, and practical application.
