About Tori

I am very patient and I love creative writing. My goal is to make students feel encouraged and confident, no matter their experience level. Writing is both a skill and an emotional journey, so I create a supportive atmosphere where students feel safe to express themselves and take creative risks. I'm attentive to individual needs, offer clear guidance, and provide thoughtful, constructive feedback that helps students grow. Above all, I truly care about helping each person find their voice and enjoy the writing process.

About the lesson

My creative writing lessons are designed to be inspiring and supportive. Each lesson will focus not only on developing strong writing skills—like structure, style, and character development—but also on nurturing your unique creative voice. As for my 7+ and 11+ lessons, I have a lot of experience working with children, and I am hoping to become a performing arts teacher in the future. I am the eldest of 4, and the eldest cousin of 11, so I have always been the person that people go to when it’s time for exams. My lessons are always a safe space, and you can freely choose what you want to do in the lessons, and if you can’t decide I am more than happy to help to give directions.

I’ve been singing with Tori for almost 2 years. She’s very patient and clear, and she pushes me to be the best I can be. She always asks about how I’m doing, taking time to listen. I would recommend her to anyone that asked.

I’m as good as tone deaf, and had to do some singing for a part I was playing in my university’s Christmas Show. Terrified, I enlisted the help of my friend Tori, who coached me to a stage where not only was I personally happy with how I sounded, but I also got some very good feedback from others. Tori is patient, clear and taught me to appreciate - maybe even like - an activity that I previously detested.
