About Danielle
I’m a guitar tutor with over 3 years of experience and a Bachelor of Science in Audio Engineering, focusing on guitar. I specialise in jazz and blues improvisation and helping students develop a unique musical voice.
My teaching style is supportive, engaging, and goal-oriented, suitable for school students, hobbyists, and professionals. I emphasise modal scales, arpeggios, dominant seventh theory, and bebop phrasing to unlock expressive soloing.
I work with intermediate and advanced players, including those preparing for professional performances. Lessons focus on technique, theory, and creative improvisation. I guide students to develop confidence and spontaneity while keeping lessons fun.

I teach guitar with a focus on developing strong music reading skills. Lessons cover both tablature and standard notation, along with sight-reading and rhythm exercises. My approach is systematic, building fluency step by step.
Students practise reading passages, rhythmic patterns, and melodies to become confident performers. I emphasise accuracy, timing, and interpretation for real-world playing.
I support both Classical Purists and Jazz Explorers, helping them connect written music to their instrument. Exercises are tailored to repertoire and style while developing reading speed.
The goal is to make reading music intuitive and natural. Together, we’ll unlock the world of written music and explore any style with confidence.
