About Erin
"Teaching guitar involves sitting with students as they struggle through barre chords until the sound finally rings clear and true. My BMus from Victoria University of Wellington provides the theoretical bedrock for covering scales, modes, and music theory alongside acoustic technique.
Having logged 13 years in this field, I guide learners through fingerpicking, lead guitar, and rhythm guitar while managing the specific requirements of NCEA Levels 1 through 3. I enjoy helping people develop their own voice on the instrument while working toward grade exam prep targets. Feel free to reach out to discuss your specific goals."
