About Noelle
I’m a guitar tutor with over 3 years of experience and a Bachelor of Science in Audio Engineering, with a focus on guitar. I’m passionate about jazz and blues improvisation and guiding students to develop their own musical voice.
My teaching style is supportive, engaging, and goal-oriented, perfect for school students, hobbyists, and professional musicians. I specialise in modal scales, arpeggios, dominant seventh theory, and bebop phrasing to help students craft expressive solos.
I work with intermediate and advanced learners, including those preparing for gigs. Lessons focus on technique, theory, and creative improvisation. Students learn to play with confidence, style, and personal expression.
We explore phrasing, melodic storytelling, and spontaneous musical ideas. I encourage experimentation to help each student find a unique voice on the guitar.
Whether your goal is jazz, blues, or professional performance, lessons are tailored to you. Together, we’ll embark on a journey of expressive, spontaneous musical exploration.

My teaching approach makes music theory clear, practical, and playable for guitarists. I cover scales, modes, chord construction, and harmonic analysis, always showing how it fits on the fretboard. Lessons are hands-on and structured for progress.
Students practise applying theory to riffs, solos, chord progressions, and compositions. I emphasise understanding the “why” behind each pattern and encourage experimentation and creativity.
I work with Aspiring Rock Stars and Classical Purists, customising exercises for their style and goals. Lessons combine theory, technique, and musical application to develop confident, expressive playing. Together, we create a strong foundation for improvisation and composition.
