About Areej
I am a dedicated and approachable English Literature tutor who focuses on helping students build both confidence and high-level analytical skills. I break down complex texts, themes, and exam questions into clear, manageable ideas, making it easier to understand and remember key concepts. My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs, whether that’s improving essay structure, mastering quotations, or developing deeper interpretations to reach top grades. I also place strong emphasis on exam technique, ensuring students know exactly how to structure answers to meet AQA mark schemes. With a supportive and patient teaching style, I aim to make literature engaging while helping students achieve their full potential.

I teach KS3 AND KS4 English, with KS3 I give them extracts and allow them to understand them and give them questions to answer and gradually increase the difficulty, whilst with KS4 I will go through key quotes for specific characters with detailed grade 9 analysis which they can apply to any essay question.
The length duration will be max 1 hour unless student asks for more.
