About Rhea Mae
Hello! My name is Rhea Mae, a Licensed Professional Teacher (LPT) from the Philippines with over 10 years of experience teaching English, ESL, Academic Writing, Practical Research, English for Academic and Professional Purposes (EAPP), Effective Writing, and Community Service and Extension.
My teaching approach is student-centred, interactive, and goal-oriented. I create engaging lessons that encourage critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and real-world application of knowledge. I use a variety of teaching methods, including discussion-based learning, guided practice, research activities, writing workshops, and formative assessments to ensure students understand concepts and develop confidence in their abilities.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and is structured with a clear introduction, guided instruction, interactive activities, and feedback to support continuous improvement. Lessons may be adjusted according to the learner's needs and learning pace.
My qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Education, a Professional Teaching License (LPT), TEFL certification, and extensive experience teaching both classroom-based and online learners from diverse cultural backgrounds. I have taught students ranging from elementary to senior high school, college-bound learners, and adult professionals seeking to improve their English communication skills.
My lessons are ideal for secondary and senior high school students, university students, ESL learners, and professionals who wish to strengthen their English proficiency, academic writing, research skills, and professional communication.

My lessons are engaging, interactive, and tailored to each student's learning needs and goals. I specialise in English for Academic and Professional Purposes (EAPP), Practical Research, Effective Writing, ESL, and Communication Skills. I focus on developing students' confidence in speaking, writing, critical thinking, and academic performance through structured discussions, real-world applications, and learner-centred activities.
I create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, expressing ideas, and developing their skills at their own pace. Whether preparing for academic success, improving English proficiency, or strengthening research and writing abilities, my lessons are designed to help learners achieve measurable progress and become independent, lifelong learners.
