As a tutor, my approach is highly student-centered and individualized. I believe in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and exploring topics in depth.

I use a variety of teaching methods and techniques to accommodate different learning styles. These may include:

1. Interactive discussions to promote critical thinking and encourage students to express their opinions and insights.
2. Hands-on activities and projects that allow students to apply theoretical concepts to real-life scenarios.
3. Visual aids such as diagrams, maps, and timelines to help students understand complex ideas.
4. Regular quizzes and assessments to monitor student progress and identify areas for improvement. (Nothing hard or stressful!)
5. Flexible lesson plans that can be adjusted based on student needs and interests.

Before we begin we will chat together about your specific learning goals, and/or your class expectations and assignments. Together we will structure tutoring sessions best suited to your needs to make sure that not only do you leave enlightened with a complete understanding of the content but that your grades also reflect it.

What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor:
As a college student studying Hospitality Management, I bring a fresh perspective to tutoring, as I know what it means to put you first! I am passionate about my subjects and have a deep understanding of the material. My approach is dynamic and adaptable, and I strive to make learning enjoyable and rewarding. Additionally, when I was in high school I had trouble with certain areas and needed to have certain accommodations. So I know what it feels like to maybe be afraid of the teacher calling on me or failing a test or even not enjoying school because of what others might perceive of me, just because I struggled in a certain subject.

That is why I am committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported.

My lessons are for students at any level who are interested in history, social studies, leadership, or just generally need help with homework outside of these topics. I am particularly passionate about working with middle school and high school students, but I am open to teaching students of all ages. I can also tailor my lessons to specific areas of interest or focus on particular topics or skills. Overall, my goal is to inspire a love of learning and help students achieve their full potential.
