About Lovro
Hello, my name is Lovro. I am originally from Croatia and have been living and studying in England for the past three years. Moving to a new country has helped me become more independent, adaptable and open-minded, while also allowing me to experience different cultures and perspectives.
I am currently studying Biology at university and have always been fascinated by science and the way the human body works. Outside of my course, I enjoy reading and researching topics related to medicine, which allows me to continue developing my knowledge and explore areas that interest me beyond my studies.
In my free time, I enjoy discovering new music and reading, as I believe that learning and curiosity extend beyond the classroom. I am a calm, patient and friendly person who enjoys understanding new ideas and sharing my enthusiasm for science with others.

As a third-year Biology student at a UK university, I aim to make GCSE Biology clear, engaging and easier to understand. Rather than encouraging students to memorise facts, I focus on helping them understand the concepts behind the content so they can apply their knowledge confidently in exams.
My lessons are typically 60 minutes long and are tailored to each student's needs. We can cover difficult topics, work through past exam questions, improve exam technique or revise specific areas that need extra attention. I adapt my teaching style to match each student's pace, ensuring they feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence throughout the lesson.
Although I am at the beginning of my tutoring journey, I have several years of experience studying Biology and am currently completing my third year at university. This allows me to explain GCSE topics using up-to-date knowledge and effective study techniques that I have developed throughout my own education.
My lessons are designed for GCSE Biology students of all abilities, whether they are aiming to improve their grades, prepare for exams, or simply gain a better understanding of the subject. I strive to create a friendly, supportive learning environment where every student feels encouraged to succeed.
