About Tessa
I’ve been teaching biology for 9 years, working with high school and pre-university students who want to master the subject or prepare for exams. My own fascination with the living world began early — from observing plants and insects to exploring how the human body functions. That same sense of wonder now fuels my lessons and inspires my students. I believe that every learner can enjoy biology when it’s taught through discovery and connection. My teaching style blends curiosity with structure, balancing clear explanations with opportunities for independent thinking. I use a variety of teaching tools like diagrams, models, and stories from real scientific research to keep lessons engaging. Outside teaching, I enjoy reading about biotechnology, evolution, and environmental science — staying up to date with new discoveries that I love sharing in class. My goal is always to help students appreciate the beauty of life and see biology as an exciting, ever-evolving field.

My biology lessons focus on helping students truly see how life works — from the tiniest cells to entire ecosystems. I make each topic come alive with interactive visuals, diagrams, and real-world connections that make biology both memorable and meaningful. Whether we’re studying genetics, evolution, or human anatomy, I guide learners to understand how everything in nature connects and functions together.
Each class is structured for clarity and curiosity. I encourage students to ask “why” and “how,” leading them toward critical thinking rather than rote memorization. Lessons include case studies, short experiments, and thought-provoking questions that deepen understanding and make learning active.
For exam preparation, I focus on strengthening both conceptual understanding and scientific vocabulary. Students not only learn to answer questions accurately but also to explain ideas confidently in their own words — a skill that serves them far beyond the classroom.
