About Angelos
My name is Angelos and I am a 1st year biomedical sciences student at King's College London.
Having successfully navigated my journey through GCSE and A level, both my own and my peers' experience has provided me with a pivotal insight into the different areas of exam preparation that students may struggle with. For example, some students are weaker in memorising content while others need help with answering exam questions involving application of this content. Using the wide range of educational online resources at hand which I have an apt experience of navigating, together with material I have prepared, I can provide tailored support for any area the student wishes and my discretion deems appropriate.
Further to preparing students for exams, I welcome students' further interest into the subjects they are studying. I have a wide range of scientific literature and many additional resources to recommend for my prospective chemistry and maths students to help deepen their enthusiasm and instil curiosity.
I look forward to taking on board my first chemistry and maths students and see them develop their confidence and fascination in the subject!

I aim to offer well-rounded lessons, emphasizing a sound understanding of the specification, exam technique and cultivation of students' enthusiasm.
Prepared slides are my predominant method of introducing new topics. I have collated all key terminology required by the specification and filled these with prompts that link to underlying concepts, providing the framework to tackle all types of exam questions. Further to this, I use the interactive whiteboard tool to bring up insightful examples to develop students' application and encourage further reading.
Students will be set weekly homework replete with practice exercises on individual skills as well as past exam questions that will develop application and analytical skills. I encourage students to provide regular updates in between lessons via email so that I can assess their work and offer constructive feedback to tailor our next lesson towards addressing identified weaknesses.
I welcome students' curiosity beyond the specification and have plenty of material handy to support their extra reading and make the transition to A level smoother for those willing to take A level chemistry and/or mathematics.
