I integrate multiple perspectives and cross-subject collaboration, using tools like R.A.C.E.R. responses and signposts to enhance students’ analytical and writing skills.
A Typical Lesson Plan
A lesson in my classroom follows a structured yet flexible approach:
1. Anticipatory Set – Activates prior knowledge and engages students in discussion (e.g., cartoon analysis, debates, or prediction activities).
2. Instructional Strategies – I employ tiered assignments based on student readiness, ensuring scaffolding and differentiated learning (e.g., defining concepts, analyzing primary sources, or creating multimedia projects).
