About Matt
I am a 2nd year medical student at Deakin University that has a background in Biomedical Science, receiving my bachelors degree in 2017 from Monash University. At Deakin, we partake in a multitude of peer teaching exercises so I have a substantial background in teaching at higher levels. I have also been given roles in public speaking for charities so I feel as though my communication skills are exactly what is needed.

I strive to provide a base knowledge of a topic/concept and discuss this until we can move forward and discuss more specific queries.
A lesson may be structured as such (dependent on the type of help required):
- Introduction to the topic and broad concepts
- Any information needed for the specific query is then discussed
- Strategies about how to apply the learned knowledge
- Tips surrounding study techniques

I have known Matt over the past two years as a medical student at Deakin, and have found him to be an excellent teacher personally, as well as his contributions to the group during tutorial sessions. Matt is always keen to help others by sharing his knowledge, and is able to adjust his communication and style based on those he is teaching.
