About Tashiyana

I’m currently a Bachelor of Business student at Deakin University in Australia. As a student in high school, I previously achieved A* grades in Business and Psychology, a top score of 8 in IGCSE English, and an IELTS score of 8, reflecting my strong academic background and English proficiency.

I enjoy teaching because, as a student myself, I understand how learning really works. A general study method does not apply to everyone, and I believe the key to success in learning is learning a method that works uniquely for you. I had to learn that later on in my education, and now I want to help others find their unique study method and guide you through it.

I know the small but important tips, study techniques, and exam strategies that can make a big difference in helping students understand concepts and score better. My goal is to make lessons clear, engaging, and supportive so students can build confidence while improving their understanding in the subjects they wish to pursue.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is student-centered and interactive. I tailor each lesson to the student’s learning style, goals, and current level to ensure they feel comfortable and confident while improving their knowledge. I focus on creating a supportive environment where students are encouraged to speak, ask questions, and practice regularly.

For English lessons, I use a mix of conversation practice, writing and reading tasks, pronunciation guidance, vocabulary building, and practical exercises to help students improve their fluency and confidence. My teaching style is engaging and adaptable, ensuring lessons remain interesting and effective.

With regards to Business and Psychology, I teach the Edexcel syllabus for A levels and O levels, and help students prepare for tests and get a good understanding of the subject.

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, and can be extended depending on the student’s preference and goals.

I have experience working with students through my role as a part-time business tutor and vocal coach, where I planned lessons and helped individuals build confidence in their subjects.

My lessons are suitable for beginners to intermediate learners, including teenagers and adults who want to improve their speaking, pronunciation, and conversational English, and for students preparing for Edexcel Business and Psychology in a relaxed and supportive environment.
