About Rylee
Math was rarely my favorite subject until I started applying it to financial modeling during my 11 years as a quant. I admit that I struggled with word problems until I realized they were just puzzles waiting for a systematic approach. Over the last 5 years, I have helped 94 students navigate everything from basic algebra and arithmetic to high-level calculus and competition math.
My practice centers on conceptual learning rather than rote memorization. I regularly work with teens preparing for the SAT or ACT as well as adults seeking to refine their problem-solving strategies. My approach is to strip away the anxiety that often accompanies competition math prep.
I prioritize mental clarity and logical deduction over guessing. You will find that my methods are designed to build your confidence in your own ability to reason through difficult geometry or number sense problems.
