About Steve
I am an analytics professional with several years experience working in the marketing industry with a wide variety of audiences. Preceding my professional career I completed my Master's of Science in Applied Mathematics and Statistics and while in graduate school worked part time as a tutor primarily for college students through the university but also privately tutored high school students as well as working professionals in graduate programs.

I have broad knowledge of mathematical concepts and apply a dialectical approach to learning and am able to connect with students of various backgrounds and aptitudes and tailor lessons according to a student's dispositions and abilities. In a typical lesson I will encourage the student to speak out as much as they can concerning the subject they are working on and provide instruction which enables the student to solve their problems on their own terms and be able to apply the skills in different contexts.
