About Victor
I have given a Chinese private tuition in Danish. We worked with pronunciation, reading comprehension, grammar and conversation. She subsequently did well in the module test, where she got both 10 and 12.
We used DR's news as a starting point. I plan to use it again, as it gives motivation to read and talk about interesting texts. It is always the student who chooses which news we will read.

I make a lot of use of the appreciative approach as it comes naturally to me. That is, I help students spot their strengths so they can build on them. I am very inspired by John Dewey, which can be summed up in the term learning by doing.
