About Eli
Cybersecurity can seem complex and intimidating, especially when you are first approaching it. My aim is to make it clear, practical, and approachable, while helping you build real understanding and confidence.
I am a cybersecurity professional with over 10 years of experience, working across security operations, incident response, and modern cloud environments. I hold internationally recognised certifications including CISSP and GIAC (GCIH, GPEN, GXPN), and I have also competed at an international level in hands-on cybersecurity challenges.
What sets my teaching apart is a strong focus on real-world application. Rather than relying purely on theory, I base lessons on realistic scenarios and practical examples, helping you understand not just what to do, but why it matters. This approach is useful whether you are new to cybersecurity, transitioning from another technical role, or looking to deepen your existing skills.

Cybersecurity can feel overwhelming at first — acronyms, tools, and scary headlines everywhere. My goal is to make it clear, practical, and approachable.
I’m an experienced cybersecurity professional with over 10 years in the field, and I teach security the way it’s actually used in real life: calmly, logically, and step by step.
How I can help
Whether you’re completely new or already working in tech, I tailor lessons to your level and goals. Together we can work on:
- Understanding how cyber attacks really happen
- Network, cloud, and application security, from foundational knowledge to advanced real-world use
- How security teams think and make decisions
- Incident response and “what to do when things go wrong”
- Building confidence for interviews or role changes
You don’t need to be “technical already” — I explain concepts in plain language and build from there.
Experience you can trust
I hold CISSP and GIAC certifications (GCIH, GPEN, GXPN) and have spent years working in security operations and incident response. I’ve also competed internationally in hands-on cybersecurity challenges, which helps me explain how attackers think and how defenders respond.
