About Jennifer

I was born in Vancouver, Washington, and moved to Seoul, South Korea when I turned five (so technically Korean would be my first language, haha). My family raised me there and in Busan for every vacation to visit my other family, and when I turned, we have decided to move back to America in order for my brother to achieve his dream study in a different country!

Learning language I haven't used in a while, has been a real challenge to me, but thankfully to the friends who were interested in sharing their culture and getting to know my Korean culture helped me to approach it more easily to understand the differences and improve my English skills!

I am now fluent in both Korean and English skills (all thanks to my mom who forced us to speak Korean at home), and I am very happy and excited to provide you guys with an experience to have a time to actually understand and get close to Korean more interesting and fun way!! :))

About the lesson

I believe learning Korean should be fun, practical, and confidence-boosting!!
Whatever your purpose is, either to travel, to get close with K-culture or just to learn, they are all welcome! Just shoot me a message what you'd be more into learning in-depth about, and we will figure out how to make our Korean learning journey more exciting :)
My lessons are relaxed but structured, usually starting with light conversation, then focusing on useful grammar or vocabulary, and ending with real-life practice you can actually use. I’m patient, detail-oriented, and love breaking things down in a clear, all-friendly way!
My classes are great for beginners and intermediate learners—students, professionals, or anyone excited to learn Korean. I’m especially happy to support students and help to make Korean feel approachable and enjoyable.
