About Talia
This is my 3rd year as a first grade teacher. I absolutely love it. Before I was a first grade teacher, I taught special education. I do love those students as well. I realize I can help those students thrive in general education.

Phonics- I use UFLI curriculum to teach phonics. This program encourages students to understand the patterns of words, not just memorization of spelling. Handwriting- I use a variety of curricula, including some that take a sensory approach. All students learn differently, so it is valuable to have access to multiple resources.
