About Sylvia
As an international student from Shanghai, I’ve always enjoyed connecting with people from different backgrounds. Teaching Chinese is not just a way for me to share my language — it’s also a way to build meaningful cross-cultural connections. I’m passionate about introducing others to the richness of Chinese culture, from its traditions and values to its literature and philosophies. By teaching, I hope to create a space where language learning becomes a bridge to friendship, understanding, and mutual respect. Becoming a Chinese teacher allows me to contribute to cultural exchange while deepening my own appreciation of how diverse and interconnected our world truly is.
