About Josie
My name is Josie, I graduated from my high school in 2022. In high school, I studied many English and science-based subjects such as; chemistry, biology, classical studies, and English. As a fascinating subject, I also studied communications design. I am currently studying for a Bachelor of Science at the University Of Otago. I have found the difference between high school English structure compared to University English structure difficult to adjust to. Therefore, I am aiming to help students in their early stages of learning to understand the basic structure of English writing.

I prefer to teach students at a year 9 or 10 level to help them prepare for NCEA-style English writing. Or, I can tutor those in year 11 who are struggling with this adjustment.
My length of a lesson would go for 30-40 mins or can be extended or become shorter depending on the student's needs.
In high school, I helped those in my year group and those below write an essay with structured context and grammar.
