About Abbie
I have had work experience as a TA in my old primary school in Ireland and I have had work experience in a UK primary school, both very similar but interesting to see slight differences! I am currently doing my online placement at the Mosaic Jewish Primary School pre recording lessons for the students, marking their work and assisting in other ways such as managing behaviour in the classroom, virtually!

My teaching methodology is very open, I like to guide the students when I teach them, get them to think practically about their task, get creative and hands on. I let the students be independent as well as being their guide, this is very important part of learning as they need to grow as an individual and be able to think rationally for themselves. Another important aspect of my teaching is I ensure that I promote good progress and outcomes, not everyone will answer activities 100% correctly but that does not matter, as long as the children are making progress.

I will need a deposit of £10 and at least 3 hours notice if a lesson is to be cancelled, this is due to travel and other students waiting for a lesson. If it is less than three hours notice, your deposit will be taken.
