About Leah
My favourite part about teaching is seeing the joy on a students face when they finally crack a hard question or the spark in their eyes as they discover something completly new that may inspire their future choices.
I have been inspired by science my whole life and it has led me to incredible places and allowed me to be the recipient of many awards that have pushed me to study science further. I feel as if it is now my responsibility to pass on my passion for science to the next generation!
I take great pride in each and everyone of my students and I hope I can help you also acheive your goals!

As a current student myself I have the fortune of understanding what works and what doesn't when it comes to studying sciences.
I will provide you with a range of resources for study including; flash cards, simplified diagrams and podcasts to go over difficult topics in addition to your standard lesson.
Lessons are either 30 min or 60 min covering 2-4 topics of difficulty. The topics covered are largley driven by the student's needs as we work together on the areas that challenge them the most.
My lessons are targeted towards NCEA levels 1-3 yet I am happy to further reach to first year health science students aswell.
Whether you need a hand achieving the paper or you want the top marks, these lessons are for you.
