About Madeline
My name is Madeline and I am currently studying at Massey University full time. I have expertise in English and Geography fields, both of which apply to my degree and I excelled in throughout my schooling career.
I have a supportive and attentive teaching style, where I will aim to understand your goals as best I can and work hard with you to achieve these. I am patient and understanding, and know exactly how hard it can be with school at times, but with my help and some hard work I'm sure we can achieve anything.

In tutoring lessons, I will foster a supportive style where students can gain confidence in their English abilities. I will work hard to understand what each individual student needs help with and work with them to strengthen these areas.
I have expertise in Essay writing, Oral presentations (being an award winning speech giver), Critical thinking, Unfamiliar texts, and I am familiar with the NCEA format. However I am also equipped to help with other lower levels, such as middle and primary school.
I have experience coaching sports and teaching singing and other areas for the past 5 years, learning from which I will take into any tutoring situation.
A typical lesson will span one hour, however this may vary depending on the specific students needs and goals.
