About Aubrey
Hi, I’m currently studying A-Level Biology and Maths, where I am predicted two A grades, alongside completing a Dance Diploma. I’m deeply passionate about academics and genuinely enjoy learning, challenging myself, and achieving my goals. Having recently gone through GCSEs myself, I understand the pressure students can feel and how important the right support can be. I want to teach because I know how much of a difference clear explanations, patience, and encouragement can make to someone’s confidence and performance. I’m eager to help students not only improve their grades, but also believe in their own ability and develop skills that will support them beyond their exams.

I achieved Grade 9 in both GCSE Maths and English, and I’m passionate about helping other students reach their full potential in these subjects. As a recent student myself, I understand exactly what examiners are looking for and the challenges students face, whether it’s mastering tricky algebra topics or structuring high-level essays. My approach to tutoring is clear, supportive, and structured: I break down difficult topics into simple steps, focus on exam technique and common mistakes, and build confidence through regular practice with targeted feedback. I tailor each session to the student’s specific weaknesses, use past-paper questions to improve timing and accuracy, and create a calm environment where no question feels “silly.” My goal isn’t just to improve grades, but to help students feel confident and capable going into their exams.
