About Ryan
I have had a big passion for biology (and science in general) for quite a bit of my life as it’s always interesting and forever changing. I would love to teach help teach people the fascinating subject that is biology; and hopefully feel confident and encouraged to answer questions in class, furthering their knowledge.

For my lessons, I make sure everyone is accommodated for, as there isn’t one set teaching style. I usually like to see what you understand and what need to work on in a specific topic, and then tie them both together.
This is done by breaking the work down by making the topic simpler, gradually adding more detail, going through examples, and trying past paper questions as well. This will help develop your knowledge at a steady pace, while also going over examples of questions, helping you apply your knowledge to questions you may be asked in exams as well
Because I am in Uni, I have had a lot of experience with doing exams. This has allowed me to learn and analyse how exam papers are worded; and enabled me to pick up marks the examiners are looking for. This is done by writing my answers well depending on the wording of the question and correctly using and understanding scientific words.
This will make you feel much more confident in your knowledge and help answer those tricky questions that come up on exam papers.
