About Liz-Mari
I am a young women currently a student myself. I don't think of students as only academics because every person is a life long student. I understand how overwhelming work can be especially if you are struggeling to wrap your head around the concepts. I want to help you understand the fundamentals in order for you to comprehend the application. School years are the building blocks of your dreams, because with good grades you can become anything. I teach because I believe in making dreams come true.

As a tutor I strive to enhance a students understanding by incorporating practical examples. The best way to remeber something is by establishing links and imaginative stories. Example the hierachy of classification: Domain, Kingdom, Division, Class, Subclass, Order, Family,Genus and Species. Story: once a Dominant King caused Division by assigning Class and Subclass to his subjects. This Order upset most Families Genuinely because it Specifically had an classification implication.
I am fluent in Afrikaans and English and aim to help students unlock their potential. A typical lesson would include help with current homework, followed by summerizing previous work in order to be prepared for test and exams as well as a quick scan over the next day's work to enable students to ask theachers for clarification in class when the work is explained. My lessons are generally aimed at students from Gr. 4 to Gr.12, however, I am more than happy to help younger children. Subjects I can help students with include: Maths, Afrikaans, English, Science (physics and chemistry) and Biology.
