Hi! My name is Ann, and I am currently studying Physiotherapy at Adelaide University. I graduated from high school with an IB certificate, achieving an IBAS score of 38.45 and a selection rank of 98.45.
My Year 12 IB grades included:
Chemistry SL — 7
Biology HL — 6
Psychology HL — 6
Chinese B HL — 7
My current cumulative university GPA is 6.5.
I am looking to tutor high school students in Biology and Psychology. I enjoy helping students understand difficult concepts in a way that is personalised to their learning style, while also building confidence and improving exam and application skills.
In the first lesson, I like to get to know my students, including the areas they would like help with, their learning preferences, and any specific goals they may have. This also helps me prepare personalised materials and structure future lessons to best support their learning.
In ongoing sessions, we would usually begin by reviewing previous concepts and addressing any questions or difficulties the student may have. We would then work through new content and focus on applying concepts to different scenarios and exam-style questions to strengthen understanding and problem-solving skills.
Typical lessons are around 60 minutes long, although I am very flexible with lesson duration, scheduling, and frequency depending on individual needs.
