About Nicole
I received my BS in cellular/molecular biology and chemistry from Cal Poly Humboldt, where I graduated with a 3.9 GPA and taught numerous supplemental instruction courses all 4 years. After graduating, I interned at the Institute of Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine at Stanford University through the CIRM program. I have since been hired on full time in a research lab here at Stanford where I collaborate with pathologists, neurosurgeons, and other specialized researchers.

I’ve been tutoring students for nearly 6 years now, for a variety of topics. I enjoy finding new ways to help others understand complicated topics. It is important to me to meet my students where they are at and work with them to understand the missing pieces to the puzzle that they’re wishing to solve. It is not only important to me that a student understands a particular question, but that they also develop the skills they could use in the future when faced with another question that puzzles them.
