About Joshua
Hi, I'm Josh! I grew up in Zimbabwe and came to Stellenbosch University in the Western Cape to further my studies. I'm currently pursuing my third degree, an MSc. in Genetics. I am passionate about agriculture and the outdoors and I love the idea of making science accessible and understandable to people of all backgrounds. I'm 23 years old and take a relaxed approach to tutoring so everyone is comfortable and we can get the most out of the sessions we have together.

I take a laid-back and conversational approach when tutoring, as in my personal experience, I learn best when I'm relaxed and not over-pressured for the 'correct' answer. Unlike other tutors I like to try and establish an environment where students feel comfortable to share their areas of weakness so we can tackle the problem together. I'm solely english speaking and I'm comfortable tutoring biology at any stage until third year university level. Specific problem areas are a great way to get our sessions started.
