About Maida
I am currently in my third year of O Levels with Pure Sciences as my major subjects. Despite being a student myself, I maintain a highly professional approach during my classes. I stay focused on the lesson, ensuring that time is used efficiently and effectively. I teach primary and middle school Science with a focus on helping students truly understand concepts in an engaging and enjoyable way. My goal is to make learning feel fun and natural, so students don’t feel the usual pressure of studying. What sets me apart is my commitment to the child’s individual learning needs—I adapt my teaching style to whatever suits them best, whether it's through play, creative activities, or direct instruction. A typical lesson starts with teaching the core concept in a fun and simplified manner, followed by addressing any questions the student may have. I then guide them through a hands-on activity, similar to the IB system, to reinforce learning through experience. Finally, I provide a revision worksheet and a "What I Learned Today" sheet to promote active recall and reflection.
